La Ferme Du Lac Vert offers the perfect venue for weddings in the Alps for up to 32 guests for an intimate venue and celebration.

Set at the foot of the Nantaux Mountain our beautiful chalet is a 19th century farmhouse, recently renovated to retain all the charm and character of its period, but filled with all the modern comforts and luxuries you desire on your special day. The French Alps provide a beautiful and tranquil setting for your ceremony; a personal and romantic alternative to a UK ceremony, surrounded by the stunning mountains and lakeside backdrops. Over the winter months our stays are for a minimum of 7-nights and operate on a Sunday to Sunday basis. For summer events we offer stays on a self-catering basis with referrals to local wedding planners who can take care of all requests for your event.

La Ferme du Lac Vert is located on a quiet lane in the charming hamlet of Montriond, a stone's throw from Morzine.

The village square, only a two-minute stroll from the chalet, is home to the Baroque village church, église de la Visitation, as well as the classical Mairie (Town Hall). These landmarks act as the center for local events and festivities. If you are considering a wedding venue, the enchanting shores of Lake Montriond can be reached within a five-minute drive from the chalet. La Ferme offers ten generous en suite bedrooms, featuring the stunning honeymoon suite, Le Pleney, which includes a romantic freestanding slipper bath and windows that showcase views of our garden. For your celebration meal, we suggest accommodating a maximum of 32 guests.

Our in-house chef will create the ideal food to compliment your ceremony and we can provide a tailored planning service to help arrange every detail of your special celebration. 

Your ceremony can take place on our stunning sun terrace, at the nearby church or ‘Mairie’, by the tranquil shores of Lake Montriond, or even atop a majestic mountain. Each option ensures that your ceremony is a unique reflection of your relationship. We collaborate with local florists, hairstylists, makeup artists, photographers, and independent celebrants to create a seamless ceremony experience for you and your loved ones.

A luxurious wedding day begins with a sumptuous breakfast served in the inviting ambience of the chalet, accommodating up to twenty-four resident guests. Following this delightful start, the intimate wedding ceremony takes place on the picturesque shores of Lake Montriond, where the natural beauty provides a serene backdrop. After exchanging vows, guests return to the chalet for signature cocktails and exquisite canapés served in the enchanting rose garden, creating a charming atmosphere for mingling. The celebration continues with a personally designed wedding feast, featuring gourmet dishes and crafting an unforgettable dining experience for up to 40 guests, ensuring a day filled with joy and cherished memories.
